Donations given through this system go to the KFL State PAC (as opposed to the KFL Federal PAC). {If you wish to donate to the KFL Federal PAC please email kflpac@yahoo.com for directions, but note: The KFL PAC will be concentrating on state level elections in 2012, making donations to the State PAC the most important investment you can make this year.

KFL PAC donations are used in various ways to help elect pro-life candidates. However, rather than dole out money to those candidates, we use our funds to inform pro-life voters which candidates on their ballots are endorsed by the KFL PAC.

State Campaign Finance PAC rules are as follows: Unlike donations to individual candidates there is NO limit to the amount that can be donated to a PAC. And, unlike donations to a Federal PAC, donations to the KFL State PAC can be given by corporations, in addition to individuals. In  fact a business owner can make a personal donation, and a donation from his business to a State PAC, unless that business is a sole propietorship.

Finally, for any single donation over $150.00, a person’s occupation must be listed (in the check memo or noted in comments in an online donation.) Reporting one’s occupation need not be overly detailed, e.g. “salesman” or “business owner” will do, and if retired, simply write ”retired”.

Advance Voting Application

In Kansas, anyone can vote starting up to 20 days in advance, but you have to apply for the advance ballot, and you have to do it for each election (unless you are sick or disabled and have been granted permanent advance ballot status.) Those who apply will get a ballot mailed to their home. If you apply between now July 18, you should get your ballot by July 21. If you apply after that, they will mail it right away so that you can get it back in time, but deadlines apply.
